Delete your account

You may leave the path at any time, and take everything with you when you go. Deletion is complete and permanent — we keep no shadow copy of a cultivator who asked to be forgotten.

In the App — takes a few seconds

1Open the App and go to Profile

2Tap Settings

3Tap Delete account, the red row at the foot of Settings. It asks twice — the second dialog is titled Sever the Path — and then it is done.

Guest accounts — signing out deletes them

The app opens with a guest account: no email address, no password. For that kind of account, signing out deletes it, because the session on your device is its only credential — there would be no way to sign back in. The app asks you to confirm this separately, and it needs a connection so that the account is really removed from our database rather than merely lost to you.

⚠️ The email route below cannot work for a guest account. There is no email address attached to it, and we have no other way to verify that the account is yours. Delete it in the app — either the three steps above, or by signing out. If you have already lost the device, the account is deleted automatically only if it was never used; otherwise write to us and we will explain what is and is not possible, rather than pretend we can identify you.

By email — if you cannot sign in

Write to hello@habitcultivator.com from the email address of the account, with “Delete my account” as the subject. We verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days. This route is for named accounts — one with an email address and password.

What gets deleted

ERASED PERMANENTLY

· Your account and email address

· Your profile, realm, Qi, spirit stones and streaks

· All disciplines and their completion history

· Focus/Seclusion sessions

· Your Chronicle events

· Items owned in the Pavilion

· Sect membership and Duel Pacts

WHAT MAY REMAIN

· Anonymous aggregate records that cannot identify you — for example a sect’s total daily score

· The minimum billing record we are legally required to keep for tax and accounting, if you ever purchased — never your habit content

· Support emails, for up to 12 months

Two things worth knowing. Uninstalling the App does not delete your account — your record lives in the account, not on the device. And if you hold a Patron subscription, cancel it separately in the store (iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions); deleting the account does not stop billing.
